What billing or insurance information will I receive?

​You will receive a copy of your bill. After your insurance has paid, we’ll provide you with a monthly statement of your account.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

Generally, it takes from 45 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.​

​​Why am I getting bills from other physicians/Hospitals?

​You’ll receive bills from other physicians/Hospitals is for the use of their facility, professional or technical services rendered by them. Any questions pertaining to bills from other providers should be directed to that provider, and not to Beckley Internal Medicine.

I want to know about Screening Procedures?

Some insurance companies may not cover screening or other procedures, for this you are responsible to check your insurance carrier before, our staff will make an attempt to contact and prior authorize the procedure as a courtesy to our patients but ultimately its your responsibility.
